Team

Built by operators across AI, advice, capital markets and risk.

Finlogica combines AI systems engineering, investment banking, advice governance and senior risk and compliance experience to help regulated wealth firms adopt AI safely, commercially and defensibly. The team understands where unstructured AI breaks down in adviser practice — and where licensee evidence needs to stand up under review.

01 — Leadership

Three disciplines. One controlled workflow.

Dr Ed Young

AI/ML Systems & Architecture

PhD · MSc · MMath · FACS · GAICD

Ed leads Finlogica's AI architecture, model orchestration and deterministic-control engineering. He has deep experience designing production AI and machine-learning systems inside Australian enterprise environments, with a focus on reproducibility, system control and scalable deployment. He is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Tristram Cleminson

B.Com · LLB (Hons) · NY Bar

Tristram brings investment banking, corporate advisory and legal structuring experience to Finlogica's work with wealth management firms, licensees and enterprise buyers. He focuses on commercial strategy, transaction-led growth, governance design and the practical adoption of AI in regulated advice businesses. He is an AFSL Responsible Person and admitted to the New York Bar.

William Cole

Advice Risk & Compliance

B.Com · B.A. · RG146

Will leads Finlogica's advice risk, file-control and compliance validation framework. He brings 25 years' experience across Australian wealth management, including senior compliance leadership inside large licensee groups. His work focuses on translating regulatory obligations, market practice and adviser supervision requirements into evidence-based controls for AI-assisted advice workflows.

02 — Why we built Finlogica

The licensee carries the risk. The control layer should match.

Built for the realities of regulated advice.

Generic AI is already inside adviser workflows. Advisers and paraplanners are using general-purpose AI tools to draft advice, summarise research, restructure templates and respond to clients. The supervisor view often does not capture it; the file often does not demonstrate it; and the audit trail may not support it.

The licensee, not the tool, holds the obligation. When the file cannot be reconstructed or defended on review, the exposure runs to the licensee. The risk is not just one poor output. At scale, it becomes a repeatable failure mode inside the licensee.

That is why Finlogica was built by operators across AI, advice, capital markets and risk. The market needs a control layer designed for regulated advice — not generic AI wrapped in policy, disclaimers or prompt discipline.

Finlogica puts structured inputs, deterministic calculations, controlled drafting, file-control checks, record keeping and adviser approval around the model.

Not inside the prompt.
Not inside the adviser's head.

The system assists. The Adviser advises.
